- London Outdoor Science aimed to develop the use of fieldwork in KS4 science teaching in London schools by providing practical guidance, training and resources to support teaching in local green spaces, such as parks and commons.
- The Schools in the Parks project supported over 2700 secondary pupils explore open spaces across South East London and supported environmental educators through an innovative professional development programme.
- DUGSS aimed to create long lasting relationships between schools and their local green spaces.
- Inspiring Learning through Outdoor Science and Geography uses the City as a location to inspire teachers. The project provides training and develops resources that are connected directly to the urban world that teachers’ and pupils’ live in and which support accessible, relevant and inspirational learning in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Geography. The project will work with 64 teachers from 16 schools across Greenwich and Leewisham in 2013/14 and an 64 teachers from16 schools in Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest in 2014/15.
